
The SAGE Store-Front Grant Program can provide qualified businesses an opportunity to improve their businesses with matching grants of up to $20,000. The Store-Front Grant Program is a Matching Grant Program in which grants must be matched dollar for dollar by the business owner. Store-Front Grants are only given to business owners who own their property. Apply for a Store Front Grant here (PDF). Applicant Requirements include:
- Complete SAGE Store-Front Grant Application
- Provide a project budget and task list
- Provide proof of availability of matching funds
- Project must be approved and permitted by proper governmental authorities
Use of Grant
- The first $10,000 of any grant must be spent on façade improvement projects.
- Any amounts more than $10,000 may be spent on these types of projects:
- Interior Renovations
- Equipment Upgrades
- Technology Upgrades

The EDIF was a program of SAGE in 2009-2010 that provided businesses with the stimulus needed to initiate building renovation, expansion or improvements. This program ended in 2011 with the expansion of the Store-Front Grant Program.
